We are moving! New address from 23/1/2012
In order to be able to meet future challenges, NORO Gesellschaft für Rohrsysteme mbH began last year with the construction of a new company building. We are pleased to announce that our building project has now been completed. A building with a floor area of approx. 10,000 m2 has been erected on a plot measuring approx. 35,000 m2 at the new company headquarters in Rehden. The manufacturing and warehouse building is approx. 60 m wide, 150 m long and 10 m high. A two-storey administration building has been erected at the front end.

POWTECH WAS A GREAT SUCCESS
The Powtech fair took place between 11 and 13 October at the Nuremberg exhibition centre. With almost 1,000 exhibitors and 16 % more visitors compared with the last event two years ago, POWTECH is the undisputed number one fair for powder, granulate and bulk materials technologies worldwide.
From NORO’s perspective the trade fair presence was very successful. The new 2D/3D drawing database and our new 10,000 m² company building in particular led to many interesting conversations.

CAD-Portal online!
It gives us great pleasure to present the start of our Online CAD portal to you. We have managed to make our entire product range available to you in the framework of a parts database in cooperation with CADENAS. Here you have the option of viewing our NORO products in 3D; you can also save these representations as CAD drawings in all current formats and use them in your planning documents.

VICTAM COLOGNE
We had a presence at VICTAM in Cologne from the 3 to 5 May 2011. We were pleasantly surprised by the high number of visitors to the exhibition, as this was the first time it had been held at this new location. We were especially pleased that we could again have many constructive and interesting conversations with you. We have already booked a stand for the next VICTAM.
easyfairs SCHÜTTGUT 2011
The Schüttgut 2011 fair was once more a superb opportunity to interact with and to get good suggestions from you. Due to the large response we will also be at the next Schüttgut.
ISO CERTIFICATION
NORO has successfully been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. Our quality management was sustainably improved through the process documentation. We made use of the preparation phase for the certification to rid ourselves of outdated processes and ‘shelf warming’ non-sellers. A newly introduced reward system is the incentive for the employees to actively structure the improvement processes.
NORO IS MOVING IN THE NEAR FUTURE!
The location near Sulingen train station will be vacated in the near future for reasons of space.
Our current premises were originally the base of other companies. Little by little further areas came over to NORO. We needed more space and have expanded to fill the whole building. The disadvantage is that we have to spread the warehouse and production areas over a total of 9 buildings and almost 8000 square metres. A further complication is that the buildings were originally set up for machine production and only offer a relatively low ceiling height. The logistics processes are restricted by the smaller stack height, through unevenness in the floor and last but not least by lengthy walkways and transport paths. The rooms are all of different ages and so some are in good and not such good condition, depending on their age. Poor or even no insulation and continuous employment of the roofer to stop the steady stream of leaks in individual areas are a cost factor these days.
All of the above mentioned reasons forced us to consider a move to more suitable buildings. A sounding of the market for suitable resale properties, which would suit our requirements and were situated in relative proximity, was not crowned with success. For this reason only the step of planning a new building remained. We would like to have stayed within Sulingen. Unfortunately Sulingen could not provide us with a suitable space. This is why it pleased us all the more that the neighbouring communities were very interested in our desire to move. Finally Rehden offered a plot which completely met our expectations. The plot has already been purchased. The architects have completed their plans and a tender is currently running. The financing is in the bag.
If everything runs smoothly, the relocation or moving in should be completed by the beginning of 2012.
